Ali Travis' many years of skippering and instructing experience can be at your disposal for own boat tuition.

In her 8 years of instructing, Ali has safely brought crews and boats through emergency situations, storms and near-sinkings. She has also sailed many thousands of sea miles in calmer waters and successfully instructed hundreds of young and adult sailors through RYA qualifications ranging from Competent Crew to the Yachtmaster Offshore examination.

Her sailing and instructing expertise extends from small sailing school boats to the 80 foot, 50 tonne steel ketches used by the national youth sail training charity Ocean Youth Trust.

Responsible for the welfare and safety of crews of teenagers and the training and assessment of Ocean Youth Trust sea staff, Ali has honed her instructing skills on the decks of many yachts over tens of thousands of miles at sea.
